I just got back from Yanik Silver’s Underground X conference in New Orleans last weekend, and everyone was using all sorts of awesome tools.
One thing they kept throwing in were live audience polls, where you voted via text.
They used Poll Everywhere to measure the votes, and the whole thing was done in real time.
In this case, they used it to measure which speaker resonated more with the audience than another. But the applications are HUGE. You could start a talk with a few options of how to proceed. Then based on the poll results, you would tailor the rest of your talk on what they want to hear.
Check it out. That’s not an affiliate link, btw, so I make nothing by you clicking on it. Just dug it.
